Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start by taking a black fineliner pen, and drawing a curved line in the center of your page. Bring the left-hand end of the line down at roughly a 90 degree angle.
2.
At the bottom of the line, add a jagged "point", and then another, wider "point" to the right of this.
3.
Return to the original line, and curve a line down from the right end, stopping roughly level with the points on the other side, and curving the end inwards slightly.
4.
Now, add a long "point" to the left of this…
5.
And then curve a line up to the center, and back down to the left. Add three more curved "points" to the left of this to complete the top of the hairline.
6.
Now, add a curved line coming down from either side of the face, curving at the bottom to create the outline of the face.
7.
Add a small semicircle to the bottom of the face to create a mouth…
8.
And then use a thicker black pen to add an arch to the right of the face, adding a small mark to the right of this for lashes.
9.
Add another shape to the left of the first…
10.
Now, return to the fineliner pen and add two "points" to the top right of the head, adding small marks emerging from the bottom of these. Connect them with a small "bump" to create a bow for your girl.
11.
Use the fineliner pen to add two curved lines underneath the eyes…
12.
And then add two circles above these, filling them in completely with the black pen.
13.
Now, use the fineliner to add two "crescent moon" shapes to the top of each circle. Add two small marks inside each of these, and fill in the space around this.
14.
Use the black fineliner to add a "D" shape to the right of the face, and two more jagged sections inside the hair on the left.
15.
Now, bring two curved lines down to the right of the bow, and join them at the end with a point. Then, add another long, thin curved point above this first one.
16.
Bring up two parallel, diagonal lines up from the bottom right of the face, and join these with a short, vertical line to create an arm. Add a pointed hand to the end of this.
17.
Bring a curved line down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page…
18.
And then add another short line descending from the left side of the face. Add another arm to the bottom of this, this time angling it towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
19.
Add another hand to the end of this.
20.
Bring another vertical line down from the bottom of this, and then join the two halves with a curved, horizontal "strip".
21.
Add two curved lines to the bottom of the body – the right one should be pointing down, and the left one off to the left of the page.
22.
Join the two lines with a wavy line at the bottom, and then add three vertical stripes to this.
23.
Now, bring down two sets of parallel lines from the bottom of the skirt for legs. Add a stripe to the bottom of the right one, and then add a tall "u" shape for the foot, with a series of short horizontal lines down the length. Angle the left out slightly, and then add an oval shape complete with stripes for the second foot.
24.
Now, add two triangles to the bottom of the face, with two smaller triangles inside these.
25.
Add a small square below this, with a diamond shape underneath for a tie.
26.
Add another small shape to the right of the tie…
27.
And then add a large circle shape to the feet of your girl.
28.
Add a series of small crown shapes around the surface of the ring.
29.
Now, add a heart to the left of the face…
30.
And then grab a brown pen to add color to the hair, the stripes of the skirt, and the bottom of the left shoe.
31.
Grab a red pen, and add color to the right foot and the top of the skirt, as well as the section in the middle of the bow…
32.
And then use a red highlighter pen for the bow on top of the head.
33.
Use the brown pen for the outside of the collar, and the section behind the tie.
34.
Grab a purple pen, and add color to the skirt and the front of the tie.
35.
Now, use a red pen for the collar and the top of the tie, as well as the bottom half of the mouth.
36.
Grab a gray pencil, and use this to add shading to the space underneath the brows, as well as the socks at the end of the legs. Then, use a yellow pen for the spot on the head.
37.
Now, use a pink pen to add color to the top of the mouth and the jumper…
38.
And then fill in the heart on the left with a red pen.
39.
Grab an orange pencil, and use this to shade the face and the legs, as well as the hands.
40.
Now, add color to the eyes with a green pencil…
41.
And then use a lighter green pen to fill in the circle at the bottom.
42.
Finally, grab a darker green pen, and fill in the "crown" shapes to create tufts of grass.
And voila! You have your very own brown-haired girl to enjoy – who knows what adventures she may embark on?
